Clipper BM-1 Battery Monitor
The BM-1 battery monitor is designed to monitor performance of 12 volt lead acid battery systems, including AGM and GEL types with capacities of up to 600 Amp hours. It is supplied complete with a precision 100 AMP shunt and a prefabricated cable assembly to enable simple DIY installation. The unit continuously monitors voltage, current (charge or discharge), number of amp/hours (charge or discharge), the batteries state of charge and the time to charge or discharge. It also monitors the voltage of the engine start battery. This information leads to more efficient use of the battery, which can enhance battery life and reduce the risk of failure.

Clipper Duet with Electromagnetic 3 Log transducer
The best selling combined Speed/Distance Log and Echo Sounder in standard 110mm square size. Suitable for open cockpit mounting.
The Clipper Duet is supplied complete with the solid state electromagnetic speed transducer (for installation on most types of GRP hulls) and in hull depth transducer. Supplied with the EML-3 electromagnetic transducer, the log measures the boat speed through the water with no moving parts. Robust and accurate, the sensor generates an alternating magnetic field below the boat and measures the resulting electric field produced by the boat moving through the water. With excellent linearity and a resolution of 0.1 Knot, over the range 0.2 to 40 Knots, the control box converts the sensor signal to a pulse output to connect to the Clipper Duet display.

It is supplied complete with a precision 200 AMP shunt and a prefabricated cable assembly to enable simple DIY installation. The unit continuously monitors voltage, current (charge or discharge), number of amp/hours (charge or discharge), the batteries state of charge and the time to charge or discharge. This information leads to more efficient use of the battery, which can enhance battery life and reduce the risk of failure.
Clipper Electromagnetic 2 Speed Log
The Clipper electromagnetic speed log measures the boat speed through the water with no moving parts.
Robust and accurate, the sensor generates an alternating magnetic field below the boat and measures the resulting electric field produced by the boat moving through the water. It is designed for installation into most types of GRP hulls.
With excellent linearity and a resolution of 0.1 Knot, over the range 0.2 to 40 Knots, the log sensor sends signals to a control box which then converts the sensor signal to boat speed, trip and total distance. This data is transmitted in NMEA 0183 format to a Clipper EM Log display unit.
(NOTE – NOT SUITABLE FOR METAL HULLS)
Clipper Electromagnetic Speed Log Display
The new Clipper EM Log display unit connects directly to the EM Log 2 control box to display boat speed through the water with no moving parts.
Multiple displays can be connected to the EM Log 2 control box.
The speed is displayed with a resolution of 0.1 Knot, over the range 0.2 to 40 Knots, it also shows trip and total distance.
Clipper Tactical Wind System (Apparent and True)
A high performance instrument system that shows almost instantaneous changes of wind speed and direction.
In demanding conditions, where high performance is essential, the Clipper Tactical wind system is the ideal choice. With ten updates every second it responds very quickly to the changes in wind speed and direction, which occur during tricky manoeuvres. The sensor is supplied complete with a mast mounting kit, 20 metres of light weight cable and all necessary electrical connectors to complete the installation. The output data is in the NMEA 0183 format and can be used to drive any compatible display that utilises the MWV sentence.
Clipper Close Haul Repeater
This connects directly to the master wind unit. As well as repeating the wind speed it shows wind direction in high resolution when sailing close to – or running with the wind. Complete with 5M cable.
Clipper Log Repeater
The Clipper Log Repeater repeats all data from the master unit.
Clipper Depth Repeater
The Clipper Depth Repeater has its own independent alarm function as well as repeating all data from the master unit.
Note – this is not a stand alone unit and cannot be connected to a depth transducer.
It must be connecetd to the Clipper Depth master display unit.
Clipper Wind Repeater/V2 – 3 wire mast unit display
The Clipper Wind NMEA Repeater has user a selectable pointer style and selectable wind speed scale. It requires the standard NMEA 0183 MWV data sentence.

Clipper GPS Repeater
The Clipper GPS repeater has quickly established itself as the market leader in cockpit GPS repeaters. Typical of the Clipper range it boasts large clear digits and simple operation. Installation coundn’t be simpler with just a single wing nut to fasten the unit into the panel and two wires to connect to the GPS.
Clipper Wind System V2 (Apparent)
The Clipper Wind system shares the same 110mm square case as its sister instruments in the Clipper range. the display is exceptionally large and clear, with 60 segments for full 360 degree direction indication. Windspeed is shown in knots, M.P.H. or Metres/second. The pointer style is selectable, from the single segment shown above, to multi segments for greater clarity or a ‘windex’ style indicator. The masthead unit directly outputs NMEA 0183 output sentence MWV and is supplied with 20 metres of cable.
Clipper Wind system is supplied complete with Display unit, masthead unit with cable and mounting blocks.
Clipper Compass System
The Clipper Compass is a fully electronic compass with remote fluxgate sensor. The large clear display has 7 levels of illumination and gives True or magnetic heading. The sensor which is gimballed for plus/minus 30 degrees of pitch and roll, is mounted in a position where stray magnetic fields are at a minimum. An electronic auto calibration then cancels out small errors.
Steer to course function
When the steering function is selected a series of chevrons accumulate showing the magnitude and direction of the steering error. To stay on course simply turn the wheel in the direction of the chevrons until they are extinguished. The steering sensitivity can be preset by the user. An off course alarm provides a safety feature when not at the helm. If the heading deviates by more than a preset amount then the alarm will sound.

The masthead transmitter sends data wirelessly to the base unit, which is powered by the vessel’s 12 Volt supply, the base unit receives wind speed and direction data from the masthead transmitter and sends it to the Clipper Wind display or any other compatible NMEA display unit.

EASY LOG – the Log with no moving parts
The Clipper EASY LOG shows speed, trip and total distance on a high visibility liquid crystal display. It utilises the RMC sentence from any GPS or plotter with an NMEA 0183 output. Alternatively the EASY LOG can repeat, using sentences VHW and VLW from an existing NMEA log.
